Champion & Wilton

I hate to sell this saddle but I have been teaching one of my horses to drive and I need to sell a saddle to buy a cart.  Since this one gets the least use, due to it's size, it must be the one to go.

It measures 19 1/2 long and 11 1/2 wide and fits a small lady or average teenager.

It has a suede seat and a new balance billet and balance girth which will go with the saddle.  When it was at the saddlers last year, he stated that the girth billets were not in need of replacing at this time, they are strong and sturdy.  Lillian Chaudhadry, has re-stuffed the leaping head and also made a new stirrup leather for it.  The safety action for the stirrup hanger is in excellent working order.  The saddle is in excellent condition, with some wear on the flaps as would be expected with it's age, but no more than that.  The leather has been well taken care of and is supple.  It has a few tiny  holes in the seat, but they have not grown in the approximately six+ years I have owned it.  There are small patches on the original panel fabric.  We have dropped the panels and the original label is on the tree.  It is reinforced for jumping and the wood is in excellent condition.

You may need to adjust the flocking for your horse.  It was re-flocked for mine just 18 months ago so I don't think it will need more adding, just rearranging.  I can send along extra wool though if the buyer would like me to.  I have used it on 2 Arabians, though it is too narrow for my government lines Morgan.
